Wandering in Kielder

In Spring of 2011 we headed up to Northumberland to spend the weekend at Kielder YHA.

The hostel was OK, the pub was dire (I think heads actually turned in unison as we entered) and the walk around Kielder Water was a little on the monotonous side but with some interesting outdoor installations along the route to relieve the monotony.

We also, of course, had all the usual Wanderers banter and general tomfoolery to keep us entertained throughout the course of the weekend.
