Wayne’s Wanderers on Mam Tor

The summer of 2008 saw Wayne’s Wanderers heading off to Castleton for a weekend at the old hostel in the village. (The new hostel being at Lose Hill Hall.)

Decent weather meant a walk out of the village, up Cave Dale, round the top of Winnatt’s Pass and up onto Mam Tor. (I don’t recall if we then walked the ridge or not.)

On Sunday, we paid a visit to the Devil’s Arse in Castleton (also know as Peak Cavern) for some subterranean wandering.
