Whitby March 1996

St. Mary’s Church, Whitby

The first Wander of 1996 saw the Wanderers heading to Whitby for a weekend on the East coast.

The photographs seem to indicate a walk to Robin Hood’s Bay but there’s also clearly some Abbey visiting going on.

When in Whitby, do as the tourists do.

This was the first Wanderer’s visit to Whitby, we’ve been back twice since and have also stayed at Boggle Hole just down the coast.
